Hi, I'm Nancy Lopez

and I am a Certified Professional Leadership and Career Transition Coach.

In my 28 years as an executive with Xerox in Human Resources, I had to navigate countless leadership and career transitions. At times I felt like an “accidental leader” who didn’t fit the mold of the typical executive, yet I kept finding myself in leadership positions.

Being a leader felt isolating, and I often wondered if I was doing it right. I struggled to figure out how to make it all happen at work and home, and I questioned if I was in the right place.

It took outside guidance from others who saw my potential to help me discover my unique role and contribution in my life and business. I experienced the power of having mentors  to help me get unstuck and navigate my next steps with confidence.

I quickly discovered I loved helping other people do the same, and I developed a reputation as a trusted partner and confidant who is approachable and credible. I had countless coworkers come through my office who were overloaded and needed a safe space to process, vent, dream, and identify what’s next for them.

Eventually, I left the corporate world so I could focus on coaching leaders like you.

Through coaching, we work together to help you catch your breath and get clear on what matters most so you can navigate your change with confidence.

If you are experiencing change or transition as a leader or in your career, don’t go it alone. Let’s work together to explore who you are, what you want, and develop a customized action plan to get the results you desire.

Let’s have a conversation and develop a customized coaching package that best fits your needs and schedule. Set up a free consultation to see if working together is right for you.

More about me....

I live in the Greater Rochester, NY area with my husband and two children. I’m a first generation American and the proud daughter of Cuban immigrants. My parents taught me the value of being a servant leader, and always encouraged me to work hard and pursue independence. This greatly impacted my decision to pursue work that gives me the freedom to do what matters to me as I help others succeed.

I worked for 25 years at Xerox, and my background is in Human Resources. I’m a Certified Professional Leadership and Life Coach through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and a REALIFE Process Certified Facilitator. My degrees include a BBA in Accounting/Management from Stetson University (FL) and an MS in Business Administration from Penn State University (PA).

My coaching philosophy aligns with the belief that you have the potential inside to become who you were created to be. Coaching is about co-creating an environment where you can safely explore the reality you seek so you can lead your life and lead others with meaning, purpose, and impact.

“Credibility is the foundation of leadership” James Kouzes and Barry Posner

“The truth is leadership is an identifiable set of skills and abilities that are available to anyone. It is because there are so many – not so few – leaders that extraordinary things happen on a regular basis in organizations, especially in times of great uncertainty” James Kouzes and Barry Posner

“Nancy establishes high-trust relationships and has exhibited great positive impact for a variety of individuals and business units going through challenges and change. I have known Nancy for over two decades and worked with her in a variety of HR roles, and that has been a constant strength.

In addition, she is committed and ensures the job is done correctly and is willing to roll up her sleeves, not just delegate, when needed. Above all she is respectful and lives with high integrity.”
